Gasmask bag - maker? Donated assemblage with helmet.
I was given this assemblage by a family friend.
Thier relative Major HR Norman, RIF, left it in a cupboard at the end of ww2 and it stayed there until now, hence the amazingly good condition. It’s all dated between 39 and 41; mostly 40.

I’m well chuffed with the helmet; original sandy covering, net, and riveted liner, and named. Looks to be hardly used.
Anyone know the manufacturer of the gasmask bag? I bought the badge at a carboot, years ago, for steampunkery…..always wondered what impeled me to keep it and very glad I did now.
