2″ Mortar and Equipment Kit Layout

I have recently added a British 2" mortar and accessories to my collection and I thought forum members might like a kit layout. As I live in the UK, the mortar is of course deactivated and the bombs free from explosive. The sight is included as it was an accessory for the mortar, but was rarely if ever actually used, the white line painted on the tube being perfectly adequate for use in the field- you lined the mortar up with the target using the line and then tilted it back and forth to alter the range.

“Russian Defense of Stalingrad”!

I picked up this poster a while back and out of all my propaganda I cannot say for certain if this piece was printed during the war. Any help would be appreciated! It is printed on a thicker cardboardish like paper. It is 23" x 29".105157910515751051576105157710515801051582105158110515831051578

More info: The paper is slightly yellowed with age and has the correct vintage "smell". I do not know if these were printed in the 60s or 70s? Any info would be great.

Question Polish soldiers in French uniforms?

Hello, are these Polish soldiers wearing French uniforms? I am helping a friend research their father who escaped Hungary in 1940 and arrived in Syria May 1940. The Carpathian Independent Rifle Brigade was started in Syria under the French. Do these uniforms fit with that time frame?

Regards
Chris…..
