I have never been a fan of the poor craftmanship of late RZM daggers. I picked up three in the last week and the lack of depth ( it not quite as deep as on my early daggers) on the etching had me concerned. I’m not 100% and a second opinion couldn’t hurt. Thanks for your help!

Gents,

I just purchased this piece and was hoping someone could shed some more light on it. I bought it from a reliable source and I’m hoping to confirm its authenticity. I know there are a lot of cheap reproductions out there and this piece is constructed of lightweight cotton and seems to show the telltale signs of being 70 plus years old. There are no makers marks on the interior and I’m guessing late war construction?

Your expertise is kindly appreciated on any info that is provided.

I just purchased this and I’m hoping it’s real. It gives me a good feeling it is, but how common are these? I can’t really find any on the internet. Anyone give me a idea if this is period or not? Thank you. . I hope the pictures don’t pop up backwards again

I have a copy of a book titled "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich - A History of Nazi Germany" authored by William L. Shirer. It has a copyright date of 1960. It is a fairly large book at 1143 pages.
Just wondering if anyone has read it. Is it a worthy read or a waste of time?

Found these this weekend at a local flea market, pair of XXX corps patches, pair of control commision germany patches and a single 21st army group HQ patch, think they all seem period !,

Today I bought a picture frame with a picture of a part of the crew from the SMS Wettin, who followed infantry training on the SMS Wettin (zur erinnerung an unsere Infanterische Ausbildung).
Underneath the picture the names of the people are shown. In the middle are 2 higher ranked people, who gave them training I guess. But I can’t figure out their ranks. It’s about the following abbreviations:

Ob.-Hzr (or Ob.-Hrr)
M.-Mt

Ob. stands for Oberst I think and M. for Major.

Anyone who knows more?
