Hi all. I know this is a bit out of the forum’s ordinary period but I know there are a few medal guys on here so thought I might as well throw this up. Got these today and was just after opinions. I know the British medal has been partially erased but I believe this has been done through wear and tear rather than deliberately. I think this is a depot named medal as opposed to an officially impressed one. From what I gather the Sardinian issue Turkish medal is commonly found in British groups and has been retrofitted with a swivel suspender. Again, I have observed this retrofit with other medals issued to the Royal Artillery. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.
