Is this a real M45 stalhelm?
Hello, so my family has had this German helmet since the end of World War II. The man who wore this helmet was one of my great uncles brothers and because it had no ventilators I assumed it to be a postwar. But as soon as I payed more close attention to postwar and World War II helmets, I noticed it had all the holes for a band unlike like the post war ones that I have seen that had none. I also noticed that most of the Post wars had a rolled edge unlike mine which has the sharper edge. So I then I saw a few photos of M45 ventless helmets and then I began to think of what kind of helmet I have. Is this an actually rare M45 stalhelm? If it is, what price could I get for it? I know it is a a Size 64 and the numbers on it are CKL54 5661.
