Thought I would share this recent addition to my collection it is said to have come out of a garage in New Glasgow Nova Scotia it is one of the more interesting Canadian Camo painted helmets I have come across it is as mentioned a 1941 dated G.S.W steel lot batch H it is sporting a 1942 dated VMC liner in a size of 7 1/2 and the remnants of the tan and green textured paint can be seen on the underside of the rim the helmet came with out a chinstrap but as I had a couple of loose ones kicking about I added one for the purpose of display…
On the norm I like to take pictures of my helmets outdoors in diffused light but as it is rather cold outside -20 and a fair bit of snow on the ground this is not an option right now so please pardon the images as they are the best I can muster…
