Summer fabric sources for bergmutze replicas - private tailoring
Having been gently given some sound info on the bergmutze in the appropriate section, I would like to have one made in summer cloth as it is my favourite cap shape.
For winter I could resort to italian gabardine, still available from military tailors selling our tax police , they used gray grey until a few years ago.
But I would like to have inputs on the summer cloth I could use, in order to orient myself towards the right types.
