Warren SS… Legion des Volontaires Francais armband

I was wondering if anyone has seen an armband like this before I can’t find any to compare it to, and thought maybe to inquire with the experts here, I find it interesting however I thought any French volunteers wouldn’t have been in the same unit or platoon, hence wondering if this piece is original or what?
