I thought I’d see if anyone here could help me, I’ve been on this forum since January this year, and I’m not completely sure, but at 15 y/o I would think I am one of the youngest members of the forum? :confused: Recently I wrote off for my first time to a veteran, and I would like to make it my mission to write off and contact/correspond with as many as I can before it is sadly too late. I was wondering if anyone here would be kind enough to allow me to write to a veteran they know, maybe family related or not, and correspond with them and talk about their time in the war, such as where they served, what units, if they can recall memories etc etc? I understand many will not want to speak at all about the war or some subjects they will not want to talk about, if that is the case then I will respect that. But please, if you know any veterans of WW2 who’d be willing to talk about their war, then please let me know, and I’ll contact you through PM to discuss how i might get hold of them if that is ok?
