Here is a great example of a Spanish Cross in bronze without swords. The non-combatant version “no swords” was awarded to military personnel or civilians for three months of service in Spain without combat experience. There were only 7869 bronze crosses w/o swords were awarded so to say this is uncommon is an understatement. Produced by Paul Meybauer and uncleaned with great patina this is a one looker for sure.
