Need help! Dating a French gas mask?

So I had a thread up about this a while back, just sharing my mask but now I am unsure if it is of WW1 origin and would like some help with this! When I bought it, all it was said to be was a French made, Belgian used gas mask. I assumed it was some variant of the ARS17, by the fact that the mask looks to have the same construction as the typical ARS17, but with different material. The canister is of course swivel mount, which by research was post ww1? There is some indented number and letter code at the bottom of the canister. The gas mask filter is dated and has a makers name. If the date is ‘36, that stumps me because from what I’ve seen the Belgian and French armies had well phased out this kind of design for the likes of the more updated and modern ARS variants. The mask straps also appear to be suggest the mask was well worn and used.

I’m pretty stumped on this, not exactly my specialty - I would really appreciate some help in this!
