I’ve been trying to find info on this helmet and the wood stretcher but I haven’t had much luck so I’m hoping you guys can offer some help. It belongs to a friend of mine and has been in his family for a long time. Unfortunately at some point in its life it was used as a flower pot. I assumed its Austro-Hungarian but I’m not so sure.

I would also like to give him some idea of what each piece might be worth?
