Unit markings on the Tonister itself and both straps : 2. Pi. 52 (2. Kompanie of Pionier Abteilung 52) Roman 1 (I) that indicates that this Tornister has been stocked until the mobilization in 1939. Carrying straps period blackened. All aluminium fittings. Messkit pouch still there…Fur partially missing in some areas as seen on the first photo.
