Question Helmet ET 66

Hi Forum
I have just got this helmet, it is stamped ET 66. I this it is a firehelmet (the edge around the helmet) ?. The green paint is not new, it has been there a long time, the helmet has oxided through the green paint. More info about the helmet ?
