| This is an excellent rare example of an early (1937) Luftwaffe Communication Visor Cap for an NCO/Enlisted man. It is from a well-known Berlin maker Christian Haug. It is size 56. It is double stamped to B Kompanie (Company) L.N.A. Luftwaffe Signal Unit 1st Company 14th Regiment. Experts have suggested the double stamping indicate the hat was issued twice. The only flaws are the small loss of finish around the left button on patent leather chin strap, at the ends of the visor where it is joins the wool on the underside, and the foam inside the sweat band has disintegrated. There are no moth holes. Terms are payment by USPS M/O with the buyer paying actual shipping and insurance. I will accept Pay Pal with and additional 4% surcharge. You may return the hat within 3 days of delivery if it is not as described. Buyer pays return shipping. |
