Since I got into exhibiting I’ve spread my wings and began collecting Wehrmacht (armed forces) in order to expand the exhibit themes. I pick out a theme, i.e. NCO Uniforms of the German Wehrmacht and then pick four tunics, one from each of the four services, and mount an exhibit. I have one WH Cavalry Officer walk out dress tunic, and two WH Cavalry NCO walk out dress. The one shown is from Cavalry-Regiment 1, which I believe was transformed into the 24. Panzer and was destroyed at Stalingrad. Notice the Cavalry Standard Bearer’s sleeve patch.

I have one SS-Unterscharfuhrer of Kavallerie tunic from the Florian Geyer Division so I have enough for an exhibit.

This helmet was floating around on eBay for a week.i emailed the guy and made him an offer and he took it. I am not much into collecting relic helmet and I am always a sceptic when it comes to battle damage helmet and in this case both a medic and battle damage. There is a 14 day return policy.
The helmet was listed as a ww2 helmet, I believe it may be Korean War era. The helmet has I believe to be what is called the marine corps green it has a slight blue hint.
The helmet has sharpnel damage on two places in the rear and a bullet hole shot from the rear to the front.
Most fake battle damaged helmet are shot from an upper angle,this one is from a level straight on shot. If I were taken target practice on this helmet during war times I would have shot it from the front.

Anyone know what this may stand for? Late war SB, RS with Late war Brass A washer liner. Originally thought it may be for the Cadet Nurse Corp, but then it was highlighted that they never left the US, or trained with helmets.
Any Ideas??

I have been trying to find out info on a wehrpass I have picked up. In particular 1.Pi.-Minier-Kp. or Pi.-Minier-Kp.821. I am sure that someone on the forum is well versed in such units and can tell me what such units actually did, and maybe even have a feldpost number for the unit. I have done all my usual serches and drawn a blank, but would be delighted if anyone had any info that might help.
