Skull Ring with Red Eyes - Opinions Please!

I’ve been offered this ring by my dealer friend. I know rings are a very difficult part of this hobby, but having trawled through this forum and other websites I feel as though this may be ok (I think!). As I’m relatively new to collecting, I just thought I’d get an opinion from the experts on this very tricky, niche subject. Just a few questions, shouldn’t the 835 stamp be situated behind the ‘face’ of the ring? What stone is used for the eyes - Garnet? Also, would I be correct in saying that the wear to the teeth is inconsistent with the sharper details on the rest of the ring? All opinions welcomed
