Hi all, I am considering the purchase of this EK1 and wanted expert opinion on its authenticity as a true WW1 era medal.

One thing I noticed that gives me pause, is the crown.
On the lower part of this one, there are only 4 raised pimples.
On another cross I have, which has been authenticated by chopperman and others, there are 6 of these pimples.

Did different mfgs put different numbers of these pimples.

I have circled the part of the crown I am referring to in red in the first picture below.
I apologize that the circle is not more noticeable.
