Help with identifying a WWII wool jacket
Hopefully I have found the right place to get an answer. I got this wool jacket the other day and have spent a fair amount of time online trying to identify the branch and other information with no luck.
I have found out that the crown stamp and buttons where used by a lot of military branches so I started looking into the crossed rifle or muskets on the lapel area. This are sewn across the back of the lapel and believe they are brass. If anyone here can identify these crossed muskets from the 1941 time period I would really appreciate it.
