Need help! on Nazi marked Wooden Crate lids
I came across these crate tops a few days ago, the seller is an antiques dealer and he is asking $120.00 for each one. They were taken out of an old barn or something like that. The bottoms are gone, but I figure they would make a good restoration project. The wood looks pretty old; I would say it is handmade. The eagles on both look like stenciling. I have a couple photographs, other than that I don’t know anything about them. If anybody has any information at all that might help I would greatly appreciate it.
