Has anyone been to the Longues sur Mere Battery…..
……and seen the horse drawn in the wet cement of a small ‘tobruk’ emplacement on the perimeter? ;):D;) It is also dated for new years eve 1943 (I think ‘43, for sure NYE though), so Gefreiter Picasso was probably a little drunk when he had his inspiration
