D A K Sleeping bag for Pilots

I become this Sleeping bag from the vets familiy.His daughter told me, he was a Pilot in the Africa Battle. Does anyone knows, whether this item was a Additive equipment for long-range reconnaissance aircraft Pilots??? Its in the sold Forum.
