German Medical Belt Buckle

Kind of new here, but have found some amazing stories and information. I have this-

and have not been able to find any information on it. I found it among some other WW2 memorabilia and just would like some info on the belt buckle. Any help is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance for all your expertise.
