Need help! 2nd Class Iron Cross with Ribbon original?

Hey Guys,
I’m getting into the medals and decorations side of Third Reich collecting. I’m interested in purchasing this 2nd Class iron Cross w/ ribbon. I’m not sure if its original or not. If not could you guys give me a clue what to look for when purchasing medals?
