I have a chance to purchase a deutscher volkssturm wehrmacht armband from someone via Craigslist. I do not have much experience in purchasing memorabilia from WWII and I was wondering if there were things to look for to tell if it is original or a fake.

Also they are asking for $55 for it, and from looking at other sites, they have asked for around $75-$80 for the same armband (not sure if they ever sold any for this price), so would this be a fair price?
