Help with swastika stickpin please

I just bought this pin, but didn’t see the detail on it in the sellers pics. I have never seen one like this before. Does anyone have any ideas please? The reverse has what looks like ST??NG under the pin. Could it be a US nazi pin? Finish in the pics looks more yellow (tarnished?) that what i see, but I don’t want to clean it.
