Found a couple of items at the carboot AT LONG LAST !! Taken a lot longer to start finding stuff this year than last.

Anyway, both items were £3 each.

First up an ammo crate. Not sure what it used to hold but it is dated 1941. I’ll probably strip it down and repaint it plus re-stencil it, once someone IDs it

Next item is, I believe, a tail fin from a German incendiary. Someone has welded a ‘tip’ on it for some reason. I think I may chop the welded bit off as the fin is in superb condition. Found it in the bottom of a box of old tools. The guy didn’t know what it was and even said so ! I didn’t tell him until he’d taken the 3 quid :) :)
