MkII with ORIGINAL NET
A nice early MkII with the original factory finish paint on the inside, the outside has been repainted with the mid war gritty khaki colour, probably 41-42.
There are still traces of a flash to one side, red, ?, white or maybe light green. The net which has been on there since day dot has worn away around most of the rim of the helmet, it’s the early war type which are hard to find. The shell was made by J.S.S & 1938 was the first year that this company made them, the liner is also dated 38 but made by VERO.
