Need help Identifying Shoulder board

Hi guys, I saw these shoulder boards in a small militaria shop, the owner says its probably german but does not know what its for. Any ideas what these are for?

The photos are a bit bad :eek: , I will try to get some better ones. It has a type of dark red base underneath the silver part.
