Its finally arrived. I saw that lid on GHW last week. This combat vet is an M35 Heer reissue, with an application of green textured camo, which has worn away in many places. Liner is original to the helmet (contains the name of the capturing GI). The name is original and done pre-1945. Nothing fancy here, just a great piece of history which most certainly saw some action!
