French navy bayonet
Bayo143. French 1800s Combat Bayonet. This bayonet has a 22 1/2" long curving blade. This blade has age spotting on it, it is also marked on the back runner with French writing and the date 1868, the handle is brass. The scabbard is all metal. These curved issue long Bayonets were used most ofter by Naval or Sea Service Troops.
