Some Danish M23 helmets.

Hi everyone!

Been collecting military equipment for some years now. especially Danish / Scandinavian equipment and British / Commonwealth equipment…

Something truely unique to the Danish army have to be the M23 helmet. The somewhat medieval design is something I will never get tired of

My four different M23’s. The one with the decal is an army issued helmet, and the all black helmet is a CB issued helmet, later used by the resistance on Bornholm. The one with the green stripe still puzzles me! , but bought it because I liked it and it was cheap ;) But still, I want to know what it is supposed to indicate?
The last one is a M23 fire-fighter helmet.

U.S. helmet, parachutists free fall, black manufacturer kings point co inc

i bought this about 15 years ago and am hoping that this can be identified as to age and branch of service.it was used for hi-lo or lo-lo parachute drops by specially trained troops for infiltration under the radar.my usual searchs have not revealed much The helmet has a brown leather outer cover with 3 ribbed semi stiff inserts covered by black cloth.there is a separation between the cloth and outer cover which reveals a semi soft/hard inner rubber insert. the ear flaps have 3 small holes for wireless contact and at the back 2 flaps for holding goggles. i am hoping that the membership will have someone who has worn this equipment. it looks like the one worn by james bond in an early movie where he does a hi;low drop. there is a soldiers in white paint neatly done over the right eyebrow. thank you.

Question Need Help/advice Italian M33 emblem

I have obtained a stencil for painting insignia on M33 Italian helmet. Would it be more authentic to brush paint or spray paint ?
Does anyone know if late-war RSI used the same markings as early-war helmets?

Camo M40 with para liner

Hi guys, I was perusing the Wehrmacht-Awards forums and found this for sale on the helmets table. I cannot afford it and I am not advertising for him but I have never seen a helmet like this and the seller gave me permission to post his pics of it here.

It’s a camo single decal heer M40 and the para liner was attached with glue apparently. I think this is a really neat helmet just oozing with character.

Enjoy!

Vehicle tag from Stalingrad

I yesterday received the below brass tag as a bonus alongside a couple of German dog tags from one of my Stalingrad digger contacts.

After some light cleaning it translates (using Google) to ‘wedge fixing the clearance between the 3 lever and clutch release bearing’. It is quite small as compared to a AA battery so maybe it was rivetted to a chassis or firewall?

Obviously the language is French but as it must have come from a French vehicle or equipment in the hands of the Wehrmacht I figured this is the right forum to post it in.

Does anyone have any ideas? I’m thinking a captured Renault or Citroen car or truck?

Cheers
Glenn
