What were large 6ft by 10 ft Krieg flag (marine marked) used for in towns in the middle of Germany
Just wondering why a town in Germany (Limarch) would have a marine Kriegs flag captured inside it.
It is a 6 by 10 foot flag, so one can only assume it isnt to fly on a ship…
Also, were these large flags ACTUALLY flown on ships?
Just curious about their use in the third reich.
