Question German WWII PANZER Compass?

Hi, as a newcomer to this forum, I think I should first present myself.
I’m 16 years old, interested in WWII, specially german militaria since I was 15. Living in Portugal, I hope to participate in our very first WWII Reenact, using airsoft replicas. As you know, Portugal was one of the few European countries not directly affected by World War II, but the level of addiction to this theme is very big ;)

My first impression will be a SS-Unterscharfuhrer of the 12th SS- Hitlerjugend. Hopefully It will last for years… Still having lots of doubts but I hope this forum can answer them ;)

Now, going on to the subject:

This compass has been bought in Eastern Europe by my brother-in-law’s brother. Total cost= 7€. Even if it’s a repro, it was bought for the price of rain :D. The salesman told him that it was from a Panzer.

Here are the pictures (link because they’re very big):

It’s a heavy piece, still working very well, with the mirror and glass in perfect condition.

As I said, I would like to know if it is real, reproduction, or a fake piece never seen before.

I think that’s pretty much all the details I can cover. If you would like more pictures, I’ll make sure to post them the next day.

Thanks for helping!!!
