NSDAP Political Cap Eagle: Authentic Piece?

Hi, guys. Just wanted to throw this out there for a quick thumbs up or down. I just acquired it in a lot with some other items and am going to re-sell it…just want to make sure it’s good before I do so. It looks fine to me but I’m not good with these yet. It’s RZM marked M1/17 indicating Assmann it would seem.
