I saved this helmet from a metal plating shop in the 70’s. A biker was going to have it chrome plated. I talked him into trading a mdl. 40 no decal for it. All is original to it except the spanner bolts. Originals got lost at the shop. I replaced them with an original set salvaged from an Fallschirmjager helmet that had burned in a fire. The chinstrap has a field repair.
