Indian Bases/ East of Suez

Having spent some time nosing around Sharjah circa 1995/6 and seeing a military type fuselage pushed up against the old fort that doubled as part of the base there I got to wondering about relics of UK airfields fields in former British India.
Can anyone direct me to any links to current day finds on such bases?
