Hi there, any thoughts on this feldmutze please guys? I think it’s original from comparing it with examples in some of the books I have but would greatly appreciate some expert opinions. Many thanks! cool militaria Jay.

need help on desert storm find

as anyone who knows me, I can’t post pic’s, but this is easy to describe. ok I found an Iraqi e-tool, it was built like a American korean war style, but it had a cross handle on top, the spade & a pick end too, with the screw down lock, I dug it out tonight, no pun intended, but can’t find any date on it, but it has a dragonfly on it and underneath, it says in English- TOMBO, then underneath that it says Taiwan, but the t did not get marked very well, but it’s obvious what country it is, the color is a cross between a wierd greenish yellow & a sand color. if it wasn’t for the Taiwan on it, I would have sworn it was American. besides tonight I had never looked for a date or anything, just assumed it was American, but for some reason , it crossed my mind the handle going across the top was bugging me. any way, besides the obvious, does anyone have any clues, or know anything about them. I guess I just took it for granted back then, when I threw it in with my gear, it was u.s. , because of all the U.S. equipment I found that we had supplied Iraq against Iran. can any one help, or have any info? help it’s driving me crazy, sorry or the novel. thank’s. Marty:confused: I appreciate any help or info at all, thanks everyone.

Need help! Deciding Between Two Infanterie Sturmabzeichen

Hi, all. I really know nothing yet about Heer badges and I am trying to decide which of these two IABs to keep and which to sell. The first is a S.H.u.Co 41 example. This first badge has some remaining finish but I am not sure if the pin assembly and catch was broken-off and re-attached...a possible period repair? I believe that S.H.u.Co is supposed to be a prominent maker of these badges, yes?
The second has more silver finish remaining on it and is marked with a C and a W on the reverse. I don't know anything about this maker yet and haven't had time to research it. The pin catch on this badge is also closed if that makes a difference in any way.
Does anyone have info on these or opinions on which is a better badge overall to keep? Perhaps the finish remainder alone decides it, but like I said I don't know enough about these yet. I also noticed a few points of difference. Firstly, of course, the design of the eagle's heads and secondly (I am not sure of the exact materials) the S.H.u.Co badge is slightly heavier, I believe.

Any info, opinions or advice would be most welcome and appreciated!

Thanks, guys cool militaria
Best,
Adam
