Hi, all. I saw these two General Assault badges this past weekend. I’m nearly certain the first is an authentic piece by Assman as it has the correct maker and mold markings. I can’t tell what the finish used to be on this badge…probably bronze? The 2nd badge I believe might be a fake/repro but I’m not sure. The eagle’s head and the casting in general look a little crude. I’m also not sure about how the pin is attached on the reverse. The 2nd badge is being offered cheaply at $35 USD which makes me skeptical. The first, Assman marked badge is selling for $75 USD. What do you guys think?
