Extra marks on ‘24′ EK2s…..
Maker ‘24′ - Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plaket-ten-hersteller often produced EK2s with an extra mark on the suspension (or jump) ring. Occasionally they would add another to the ribbon ring too.
I have three different marks on crosses in my collection, please look at your examples and post them for reference.
Here are mine - an acorn, an ‘X’ and a maltese cross or clover leaf style of motif.
