M40 Luftwaffe FFI Black Helmet
Another gem I just picked up, and I thought I’d share it with you.
Free French Liberation Army "borrowed" from the Germans, painted black, and then painted with the FFI symbol, and French Flag. Interestingly the helmet has been painted black all inside the helmet. It looks as though it was done pretty carefully without removing the rivets. ET 64 Lot Nr 5185
The trace of the Luftwaffe decal underneath the paint can just be seen. which i feel adds to it’s character
This helmet has literally just been discovered in an attic in Northern France. It has not been on the collectors market yet. 
Something that you don’t get to see that often. Although not strictly TR I thought it deserved a place here
