I do not give my "expert" opinions but give you some weblinks to understand common error: some unscrupulous or "ignorant"? dealers sold and still selling Bahnschützpolizei arm eagle as SS6VT arm eagle, and some people expertise this are good piece.

No sorry SS-VT eagle are the rarest eagle to find, even on original photos…so look this thread on another forum (russian) and the Bahnschutzmuseum of Benneckenstein site and original pictures you will establish that
_ the real SS-VT adler/eagle has different shaped wing and is head turn to "his left" so looking to the right for us.
_the Bahnschützpolizei has is head turn to his right so looking left to us and different wing shape, more smooth.

Hi guys, I am looking for a nice WWI German flag to purchase. What do you think of this one? The material looks correct to me but some of the lines don’t appear straight and the iron cross and eagle look like there was spray when they were put on. I would expect a nice crisp edge. Thoughts?

So, somebody is selling a Cairns Brodie Helmet, and doesn’t know if it’s WWI or WWII. I am taking you folk’s advice and asking for your help on this. I cannot find any info on Cairns nor them producing Brodie Helmets, if they’re even a company. Here are the pictures:

Any help on dating this helmet would help!
