Description: We would appreciate some feedback on the authenticity of this watch. We got it from a home in Bremen, Germany, and knew the people there. The “SS” looks good and like the other print and with equal wear and style. Watch runs and stops, so likely needs a cleaning. Pictures tell the story! It has its D.R.P. and the serial number. In an oval frame on the movement we see, “Hier Unten Ersatzstucke”. Watch has an excellent dial, crystal, and movement and is stem wind! Sold as seen and as is. This is a RATONAL watch! I have been looking at this badge for a couple of days now and can’t determine if original. and not messed with. I am showing the back of the badge because I don’t like the hinge and hook, I can not match them up to any other IAB. By the discoloring of the silver finish around the hinge and hook, I was thinking possible a replacement or fixed badge. Opinions welcomed.

Hi guys,

Picked up a lovely collection of shoulderboards / insignia and other items this past week, hope you like them as much as I do.

This first set is relatively scarce and signifies a member of the Gemeindepolizei (Rural Community Police)

The second set is the more commonly found Schutzpolizei

Next up, a rare pair of shoulderboards for members of the Penal system

Last set are for a Meister level (I presume) of the Wasserschutzpolizei

I was also very fortunate to get these to Cartouche eagles. The silver one is often seen attached to the Ceremonial cartidge cases worn by Polizei. However, the gold one is less often seen and belonged to the Verkehrsdienstpolizei (Traffic Police). Both eagles are in perfect condition and have intact eyelets on the reverse.
