These ”bym” were found after the end of the war during World War II. It was found on the floor a bombed factory. The bayonets were not finished when the bomb hit the factory. Take a good look at the bayonets, you can see the difference between them 2 + there is WaA stamp too ..

I have been lurking on this forum for a while between collecting military surplus of the Second World War. I finally have some interesting items worth sharing! Looking forward to posting some high resolution pictures.
Hello everyone,
I was looking to buy a couple of things from Medals Military and just wanted to know if anyone here had done business with them before and if so, how it went. I looked on the War Relics links page, but did not see that site on there. Anyone know if their stuff is legit? Their prices seem pretty reasonable compared to others I’ve seen (not crazy low prices, but low enough I would use their site before most others), so I am a little bit hesitant to deal with them.
Hi all, I have with me a first pattern black wound badge that’s been blued. It’s the pride of my wound badge collection at the moment. Only thing that could top it is if I get a cased first pattern gold but that’s not happening anytime soon
If anyone has their own example of a first pattern BWB that has a blued finish please post yours because for the life of me I cannot find any other examples outside of Jody’s example and mine.
Also I’m pretty sure mine was awarded, the pin was probably mashed and the catch bent down to make for a tighter fit.
Hi all, I haven’t posted in a year or so, so I thought I’d show off my newest addition to the collection. A first pattern second class spange by Boerger, this is the less seen one with the two central prongs instead of four. I heard word that this two prong example may have actually been a Schickle though I’m not sure.
I’m quite in love with this one, as it’s been uniform removed. This is apparent from the shape of the ribbon, the loose threads, and the heavy tarnish on the reverse from years of rubbing up against the ribbon.
I bought this from Giel if anyone here knows him.
All opinions and critique is welcome!

Hello gentleman. A while back I made a post displaying this original and unpublished photo of Grossadmiral Raeder and now looking at it more closely I’d like to have more background on it. Well the first thing I wanted to figure out if this photo was taken in; Kiel, Wilhelmshaven, Hamburg, Bremen, in France, ect… And secondly which really intrigued me is the very unusual boat in the background. I have done much research trying to find this boat and sometimes thinking I had it and then turning out It wasn’t it. I’m still researching but decided to post on the forum and see if any of you have information to give. Best regards :)cool militaria
