Need help! Relic “Italian” camo helmet

Yes you read the title correctly! A relic Italian campaign helmet. Defiantly something you don’t see every day. And with super rare items like these, there’s always fakes to confuse/excite novice collectors like myself. The helmet has a clear bullet hole going through it, id say its safe to assume the soldier wearing it met an unfortunate demise. The paint is very interesting. You can see the original Luftwaffe color, and decal peeking out from the areas where the camo rubbed off. Then we have the outer camo area. You can see the green color on top, and the mustard yellow color on the rest of it. I think more colors such as the green on top were applied to other areas of the helmet, but faded over the years. So with all that said, could I get your opinions on this relic lid? No doubt the helmet is original, but is the paint original also? I really appreciate you guys helping me.

Best regards-Jarret

GI Joes combat captured G43 rifle find.

Had this a while, been in the safe, thought some of you guys might be into these.100% matching as issued.Early b block ac44,still has threaded muzzle and solid both knob.Wont say what I paid be it was a very good deal. The vet stamped his name and rank in side of buttstock,to some it hurts the value but to others not so much, part of its history afterall. At least the stock was never sanded nor the metal messed with.It has numerous dents and gouges on stock showing its combat use.It gives a new meaning to the phrase GI Joe as this vets name was Joe!

Differentiating old epaulettes?

I noticed the older (50’s and 60’s) epaulettes of NVA go for a bit higher prices than the newer ones (70’s and 80’s). However, so far I can’t seem to notice any difference between them.

What is the difference between the older and newer epaulettes?

rzm helmet

i have gained more knowledge about SS helmets and decals, but i remember that a member told me that SS Rzm helmets have no washers on the interior of the lugs. i recently looked at the SS helmets of the famous weitze from weitze.net he has a double decal RZM SS helmet but i noticed that that helmet has a round across the inside of the vent lug, this is a washer, right? Am i horribly mistaken about washers or am i right this time i dont know if i can place alink here but if you go to his website then to ss helmets it should be there for 12K EU, is this a fake?

Unknown buckle

Hello, in the 70’s, we had in Paris( Porte de Clignancourt, flea Market) one big stock of belts with buckes.
Every time the buckle was in black with a little paint on the leather tab, what it is?
Cheers
Michel
