WW1 British MKI Helmet

Evening gents, I could do with some informed input on this one as WW1 is not my usual area. I picked this MKI up from my local junk shop for £80 as I thought it would look good with my Great Granddads WW1 medal pair. I think it is a late war example as it has a rim, I cannot see any makers marks on either the steel due to the thick paint, or the liner. Just how much of the liner is there or missing I do not know so your help would be appreciated in that respect! Also under the thick dark over paint there appears to be a unit insignia of some kind, looks like three red vertical lines?
Anyway, your thoughts are greatly appreciated, thanks, Leon.

get gun shells, some are unknown to me — please help me

Hi guys,
I got many pods. I can not assign some.
I hope you can help with that.
Photo 1:
These are 3 different projectiles. Can you recognize which ones are? Middle is pointed bullet?
Why is the right ribbed?

Photo 2:
I did not find anything. Is that polte? German?

Photo 3:
What is E17? Manufacturer MF?

Photo 4:
This is France before the First World War. Correct?

Photo A, B, C:
That’s a big cartridge. 100 x 19? This is not a 20mm flak.
What was it used for? What does U 4 3 mean?

Other cartridges were built around 1920 in Czechoslovakia. The Czech and the French were found in a forest in Bavaria.
How do they get there? Did the Germans steal them in 1939 in Czechoslovakia?

I hope you can help me.
Thank you, love, Daniel.

Meyer Brevete

Got this pistol which was in my late fathers collection, unfortunately the hammer is broken. Great piece though, what does everyone think.

M1 with first pattern MSA liner WW2

Been a while since I have been on here and I apologise for my absence.
Here I have an early WW2 M1. The helmet is a McCord front seam fixed bale with a heat stamp of 291C putting this one around September/October 1942. The helmet looks to have remnants of a white wash (snow camo) but can’t be sure if this is what it is.
The liner is an MSA (Mine Safety Appliances) with white rayon suspension with uncoated steel triangular washers. The liner has the name Carrington in pencil on the front and a red stamp of 47 inside.
This liner is either from the first contract issued for 12,000 units on 4 February 1942 or the 372,000 contracted for on 14 February 1942. There were 3 companies issued contracts for the new high pressure liners in early 1942, MSA (384,000) Inland (1,000,000) and Westinghouse (1,000,000). This makes the early MSA high pressure liners much harder to come by.
Thanks for looking guys cool militaria
