I hate to bother you kinds folks but I have a question..which I should have asked a few days ago..before purchase.
Anyway, I purchased this on-line and I don’t have it in hand yet but I think I made a mistake. The pictures were not spectacular but I got caught up in the moment and went for it. Under closer inspection of the makers marks, they look more rough around the edges than I would expect or what I have now seen on others.

Hey folks, these discs are not really my thing. I found this in a random assortment of stuff as of late. I have had other ID disc in the past but I am skeptical of anything with "Auschwitz" on it. I thought these generally had the blood type on them. It weighs 0.7 ounces if that helps at all. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Bubba changed the stock to a plastic folder, had a scope and ill fitting mount, took that off.Detent 1/4 inch partialy drilled hole in right side of receiver, also sex bolt in place of top cover pin was through mount. ,collector value ruined I know, will get a cover pin on ebay for 5.00 but thats all iam putty into it.CJA import no Norinco marking, bolt and receiver match, rest is mismatched,no bayonet but lug is there. This will make a good beater shooter with no worries, the scope and mount are worth 50.00{a 3-9×32 illuminated scope and b square mount} so a 100.00 sks,how can you go wrong? Not sure of arsenal as part of triangle is under stock maybe 26?Need info on these short barrel sks, were many made and is this an average looking one? Were they made by one arsenal only?
Hello. I’m looking for opinions on this unusual Ww1 brodie helmet. Colour is a brown and green pattern with appropriate aged patina. Also has a white stenciled "d" on the front and "200" stenciled on the back inside shell. Solid liner with red patent stamp. Can anyone identify the markings and unit? I have an opportunity to buy it but don’t know exactly what it is. Than you. KD
Not well versed in these. I’ve been looking for a WW2 era US visor and since this had some nice honest wear to it, I decided to pick it up (Still want to get a nice USAAF crusher )
Any feedback is appreciated. Looks to be private purchased. There is a card inside with some info on the original owner as well has his name ink stamped on the interior. Will have to do
some research myself.
The EGA appears to be WW2 era (I think) and is made by Imperial.
