Czech Archive Wehrpässe - KZ Guard Related

Wasn’t sure whether to post this here or in the Soldbuch section but being KZ related this seems as good a place as any and one that might be worth pinning. The Czech archives have digitised the Wehrpässe that they hold and put them online and the index at the link shows those related to camp guards:

Question Unmarked EK2

Hey all,

I’m (relatively) new to collecting and would appreciate some input on this purportedly genuine unmarked EK2.
Any idea who the maker may have been?
Thanks. (btw, the white mark on the right side of the back of the cross is from a price sticker the dealer put there. notcool)

Need help! M43 purporting to be SS

I have been offered this cap, but am not happy with how it looks. It purports to be an early SS officers M43, and I would guess at private purchase. The stitching is different to other examples as is the lining, piping and ink stamps. 114039511403961140397114039811403991140400. Any help and pointers appreciated.

SS General’s Shoulder Board

Hello everyone, I have an interesting item only talented people like you could close the book on. I purchased this recently and I am not entirely sure if it is authentic. It appears to be, but I am aware that 99.9% of SS items in the world are pure rubbish. Upon showing it to several people, they raised eyebrows about whether or not it is authentic, and whether or not it is even SS. It has been speculated it is NSKK or SA, but upon looking into the rumors I am certain this is an SS general’s shoulder board, authentic or not.

These photos were taken under a considerably bright lamp, but they do expose this fellow for what it is. It appears 100% correct to me but I am no where near an expert.

Furthermore I was told it was worth "$500-$800" if original, but I have never seen one for sale. I was also hoping for an appraisal if possible. Thank you!

German S98 nA bayonet

Hello everyone,

Here is my recently acquired German S98 nA bayonet made by E & F Hörster, Solingen in 1906. It does show a little bit of age greying but is in far better condition than most of these are. The scabbard has the same inspector marks as the bayonet, its just a shame both are not unit marked. Ive been on the hunt for one of these on and off for 10 years and it feels good to finally find one in a condition I’m happy with.

Any comments welcome.

Alex
