Hello,

Would appreciate any translation assistance with this WWII signed silk Japanese Hinomaru flag. Flag measures 27 1/2" X 32", cloth corner tabs with strings. Flag exhibits minor staining and a few small holes. Flag does not luminesce under blacklight.

I don’t have the confidence to say with any certainty on this feuershutzpolizei Schirmmütze, currently away from my headgear bibles because of the Christmas period so I’m hoping that you guys can confirm or deny my judgement on this, I’m thinking this is a post war alkero dressed up, I’m not happy with the polizei badge either, doesn’t seem to be the right look to it, again thanks in advance for all opinions!!

I have been taking new pictures of my small knife collection and thought
I would share them here. I tried to photograph each knife with some items
that kind of represent the unit or group that the knife would be associated with.

WW1 L.F.&C. 1918 trench knife and German S98/05 bayonet.

Im a recent member and have looked through many posts to try and find anything like the attached badge in my collection and failed. However What I have found has certainly helped me avoid buying a couple of other badges I had been considering.

This badge appears to have age from oxidation but I know this can be artificial. My concerns had been the pin assembly looking to be the wrong way up ( i have added a close up picture to explain this comment )

Any helpers ?

Hello friends, I just purchased this sword cover from WWC Nederland. This will be matched up with the Wrangel pattern sword I picked up about five years ago. The cover has a dark green wool cloth inside. I have yet to figure out how to wrap the sword but will most likely store and display these separately. NH
