DRB visor for review

I have had this visor for awhile. I believe it to be good, but the chin cord design however is nothing I’ve seen before in my research. Maybe a post-war? I was hoping someone could enlighten me on this cap, real or not?. I appreciate your expert opinions.
Sorry, the second picture would not rotate.

Thanks!

Vandergrift and Ike Jacket

Hey guys, got a couple of questions for you guys. First, I have the opportunity to buy a USMC Vandergrift Jacket and pants for under 15 dollars. I know the uniform is original is doesn’t have the ECA’s or unit patch but does have chevrons. It looks to be in good shape with only two tiny moth holes.

Second, how much should someone pay for ww2 ike jackets of all conditions and accessories to them chevrons, overseas bars, unit patches etc, if you could give me what I should be paying for these ike jackets.

Thanks so much guys I really appreciate it.

Question Large death notice poster

I was wondering if anyone has stumbled across one of these.
Large size glossy photo of dead and missing men from Horingen 9.25” x 11.75”

Is this a fantasy piece or something printed after the war?

Any info appreciated, thank you in advance.

Thoughts on helmet restorations.

So take your average relic grade helmet. Rusted, maybe a dent or two… is it beneficial, or detrimental to restore it? I guess it all depends on the rarity, condition and personal preference. Just curious.

Chest belonging to Hauptmann Limmroth

Hello Forum,
Someone gifted this interesting piece to me, its a Chest that has the name: Hauptmann Limmroth and the Feldpostnummer 32828 written on it.
On the inside there is further writing that says "Sontra-Hornel" Bez. Kassel, which is a district in Hesse, germany.
I´ve researched the Fpn. and found that it leads to Nachschub-Kompanie 251. (Created on the 1.1.1940) of the 251. Infanterie-Division, als called the hessian thuringian Division.
This divison served in France and also on the eastern Front, for example the Battel of Kursk, but it survived for the most time of the war, having only 3 different Division leaders in its existence till 1945.

The Inscription seems to fit the F.P.Nr., but i couldnt find anything on Hauptmann Limmroth himself, he is in no Fallen database i know, so he probably survived the war (The chest being fully intact in germany further leads to that).

If you have any ideas how i could find more about him and the story of this chest please tell me, all help would be greatly appreciated!
